Downward is amazing. I'm still surprised it didn't get bigger at the time. Hum's 2020 album, Inlet, is a gloomy masterpiece, too. Very happy about their return.
ReplyDeleteI am a little surprised at seeing Elvis Costello on your list. Because you like it, I am required to check it out to see what I have been missing during my years (decades actually) of ignoring Costello.

ReplyDeleteOops Bivouac was released by Jawbreaker... there are too many Jaw named bands swirling around that genre Jawbreaker, glass jaw, jaw box... too many jaws...
