About Us

There is a good chance you found us accidentally by using the word “taint” in your search (If you found us on purpose, you deserve our accolades). Of course, we don’t know what you were looking for, but you stumbled on a damn cool project. Look around; let us help send you on a musical journey. Here you will find a number of album reviews from the strange and extreme to the tame and mainstream. Our reviewers are a bunch of obsessive miscreants. Most of us are avid music collectors and have been involved in the music world for decades. A couple of us have been in or are still in bands.

There are no rules on Tickle Your Taint Blog. Our reviewers might make you laugh, or piss you off; both results are legitimate. One reviewer might write a glowing review of an album; another might tear it apart. We may have a new review every week, or we could end up with one every six months. This blog exists as a social experiment to build community among a diverse group of music maniacs – our reviewers and hopefully you.

Bros in Baseball Caps

By SoDak

Regardless of the genre, bros in baseball caps show up at concerts. There are usually four to six of them grouped together. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, these dickheads vary from concert to concert. As the show starts, they aggressively push their way to front, throwing elbows to the unsuspecting crowd. These bros think they deserve to be the center of the night. They talk constantly throughout the performance, only stopping to yell out the chorus here and there. Between songs, they try to have a personal conservation with the musicians, much to the latter’s displeasure and annoyance. As if overcome by emotion, these bros hold their caps in the air, signifying, well, I am not sure what. Around and around, the hats go on their heads. These dickheads jump up and down, spinning around to look at the rest of the crowd, thinking they are the only real fans rocking out. They congratulate themselves by giving each other high fives. Oblivious to how they are ruining shows, they try to give high fives to those standing next to them, as part of self-gratification. These dickheads spill beer on themselves, on those standing next to them, on the ground. The crowd thins, as people around them grow tired of dealing with the bullshit.
